On Thursday November 6th 2008 he was honored by citizens of Union County for his many contributions to the United States, Ohio, Union County and the city of Marysville and most of all to Veterans of all services.

And on Friday November 7,2008 he was inducted into the Ohio Veteran's Hall of Fame.
We begin the day with the Veterans Day parade through downtown Columbus. Even though there was a steady rain, it did not dampen the enthusiasm from the parade participants. Here are some pictures of the parade.
