Veterans Day 2007
The Veterans Day dinner for our members and guests will be held on November 10th at 6 pm for the ice breaker and 7 pm for the dinner. You should have your invitations, or be recieving them soon.
On Friday, November 9th, 2007, the Fairbanks Middle School had a Veterans Day Program to honor area veterans. About 25 veterans were present and enjoyed the program.
The bleachers in the gym were packed with 5th,6th,7th and 8th graders.
The Shamrock Pipe and Drum Corp provided the music entertainment.
On behalf of all the Veterans present at the program, I would like to thank the Principle and Commrade Claudia Bartow for putting this program on for the children and the Veterans.
