July 4th Parade
The 2007 July 4th parade was hosted by the American Legion Union Post 79. Below are some pictures from the parade.
The Honor Guard was made up of Post 79 members.
The Post fire truck was the lead vehicle unit in the parade.
Don Lowe, was the fire truck driver for this year's parade.
There was a decorated bicycle contest before the parade with the top three getting a cash prize. Then all bicycle participants were invited to be in the parade. An estimated 30 children participated.
There were several antique cars in the parade also.
Bringing up the rear, was a form of transportation. that several of our members remembered fondly!
